Founded in 1982 Soils Limited is an established multi-disciplinary consultancy offering clients a complete environmental and geotechnical service from pre-purchase to site completion.
Our professional staff are qualified civil engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, and geochemists, and all are able to draw on this extensive range of knowledge within the company to offer cost-effective and practical solutions for their projects which are delivered on time and in budget. The environmental services we provide include Desk Studies, Pre Purchase Studies and Assessments, all aspects of Site Investigation, Soil Testing, Chemical Laboratory Testing, Factual and Interpretive Reporting including Site Specific or Generic Risk Assessments.
Geotechnical services, which can be undertaken in tandem or seperately to the environmental, include foundations, piles, piling mats, slopes, basements, retaining structures through to subsidence, complex settlement and ground improvement.

Soils Limited are often commissioned in response to local authority or environment agency planning conditions, NHBC conditions, as part of a companies policy when purchasing land or as part of their due-diligence procedures. Soils Limited have been involved in many thousands of sites throughout the UK, ranging from single storey house extensions through to several hundred unit major residential redevelopments and large commercial builds.
